About The Day

We feel that the most important thing for both parties is that we are right for each other. That is why we only agree to photographing your wedding after we have met for a personal consultation. This is where the photographer that will be shooting your wedding will meet for a chat, show you some examples of work and make sure that you are happy with what you can expect and we are happy that we are best for you.

The next stage after agreeing that we are right for each other is a pre-wedding shoot. This is important as it gets you used to having someone around taking pictures and you get to know them. On the day you don't want to be getting used to the photographer - we understand you just want to be enjoying yourself. The last thing we want to do on the day is interfere with anything. By chatting to you before the shoot and showing you examples of possible ways to take your photograph we will be able to communicate your thoughts and feelings through our pictures.

There are several key moments of a wedding that need to be photographed for the complete story to be told. It starts in the morning with the bride getting ready and may finish with the first dance or even later. In a pre-wedding meeting the whole day will need to be communicated to your photographer so they can plan the best way to achieve and exceed your expectations. Planning is the backbone, and we are very used to it. It is the secret to our success and the secret to you having no problems with us on the day. We want to leave you almost completely alone, occasionally borrowing you, but always as smoothly as ever.

Although we don't do the formal group shots we completely understand that family groups will want to be photographed together. This is certainly possible but with a casual, informal, feel that we have found most people prefer. Examples of all these points will be shown to you pre wedding so you are in complete understanding of what you are getting.

All of our pictures involve a lifestyle and glow which ooze spontaneity and naturalness. None of your photographs are as straight forward as a grin into the lens. We will let you get on with whatever you are doing, simply taking moments.
